A very interesting web site. One of my Great-Uncles, Paul Taylor, was Director / Manager (?) of the Jerome Camp. I work for the Army, Corps of Engineers and the father of a fellow-employee, Greg Yada, was an Internee at the Rohwer camp...

Hi I was born and raised in S.W.Oklahoma, and know all about cotten sacks and pulling "bolls." I also know about shopping for the right chicken feed or flour sack to get a new dress made. I love you site and will certainly return to read it again and again. Would any of the readers out there have any knowledge of the Ripley family out of Louisiana --probably in or around Benton Ark during mid 1800's.Please write me and let me know :)

Thanks for hosting a great site.
I look fwd to coming back to go over it with a fine-tooth comb!
Somebody posted on our Cornell site about feed-sack dresses (& shirts!) Some people never had the pleasure of going shopping at the feedstore for their future wardrobe and don't know what fun that was. My Gmtr was quite the designing woman, for sure!
Thanks....I'm going to post your link on some of the geno sites that are "Delta Connected" I think they'll just love it. ;)
